iPhone 17 Pro and Air are easily scratched, care should be taken when using

Kathmandu. Apple’s new iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone Air series have a strange problem. The back of these new models has a problem with scratches even in normal use.Bloomberg has revealed this in a report on Friday. According to the report, the problem has been seen in the ‘Deep Blue’ color variant of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max and the ‘Space Black’ color variant of the iPhone Air. However, it is not clear how these phones were used or how common the problem is.

Customers in China, Apple’s largest market, are posting photos/videos on social media that make it look like the new model is easily scratched. The topic of the new iPhone being easily scratched was trending on social media on Friday evening. Similarly, users had also posted on the X and complained about this problem.Analysts said that the reason may be the material used in the construction of the phone. The iPhone 17 Pro model uses an aluminum frame and a ‘ceramic shield’ that looks like glass on the back. The previous iPhone 16 Pro model had a titanium frame.

Since titanium is harder and stronger than aluminum, it is believed that the iPhone 17 Pro may be more susceptible to scratches. Similarly, although the iPhone Air has a titanium frame and a ceramic shield back, its ‘Space Black’ color variant has been found to have scratch problems.

The display models kept in Apple stores have also been found to be easily scratched. It is said that this may have happened because customers do not take care of the display model as they would their personal phones. However, it is advised that new iPhone users should be extra careful while using their devices and use cases to protect them from scratches.
