All the websites of the Government of Nepal are down

Kathmandu. All the websites of the Government of Nepal hosted at the National Information Technology Center are down. Since the website has not been working since 2 pm on Saturday, the customers are in trouble.

Due to GIDC’s server not running, the government website has a problem. Ramesh Pokharel, information officer of the center informed that the memory (CPU) in the firewall on the server of NITC has suddenly increased.

He told Tekpana, “Our technical team has identified the problem. It will be resolved in no time.”

The customers have faced problems due to the website not working. Hundreds of passengers of 5 airlines were stranded when the server of the immigration office at Tribhuvan International Airport was down. When the immigration website is not opened,

it is found that the digital study of visas and passports for travel and departure is not possible.
